Quiet and peaceful vacation in the village of Skinia Mirabellou (Agios Georgios), with the archeological church of Agios Georgios outside the door of the accommodation. There are at a distance of 2 km the beaches of Avlaki and Agios Antonios which have crystal clear waters and are in the open sea. Relax, swim, walk, rejuvenate on the beautiful island of Crete and do not forget to visit the gorge of Mavrogiannis or Skinias that starts from the village of Skinias of Ano Mirabello and ends after a beautiful route to Avlaki beach in Vlychadia. It is generally dry with low vegetation, while the path through it is made on rocky soil and is not very demanding. The stream of the gorge carries the waters from the area of Areti Monastery, but after very heavy rains. The monastery of Agios Antonios Sfougaras is located in the settlement of Kato Selles, above the beautiful beach of Agios Antonios, with its temple built in a cave by the sea.
